To get to the rainbow mountain Yuracochas from Lima, you have to go to the intersection of Jirón Chota and Paseo Colón avenue. These streets are located in the Center of Lima. The intersection is full of mini vans headed for Chosica. Once you arrive in Chosica, you have to go to San Mateo on the buses that leave from the central park. From the district of San Mateo, in the province of Huarochirí, you will depart towards the rainbow mountain Yuracochas.
Before starting the trek to the mountain, it is recommended that you rest for half a day in order to acclimatize to the altitude.
